Does Spyro Really Love Me?

Here's a picture like making which happens to be Cynder standing outside in the night by herself.

The idea of this picture of course originated from the description of a previous picture I have made in the past which happens to be Spyro having to give away all of his treasure. In the description, I mentioned that it'll be unknown if I'll make Cynder in pony form in the future. I of course kept this idea ever since I posted the picture of Spyro in pony form without anyone else's knowledge. It wasn't until yesterday that a Legend of Spyro video popped up on my recommended videos on YouTube and there was not only 1 but 3 videos which were mini shorts of The Legend of Spyro A New Beginning before The Eternal Night was released in 2007. Those videos made me think of the Cynder pony that I had in my mind for weeks and then I said to myself in my head, if those users want to see my style of Cynder in pony form, I'll do it! So I of course went straight to the computer to go work on it!

Much like my Spyro pony, I of course based Cynder's appearance on one particular game which is how she looks like in The Legend of Spyro series instead of the Skylanders series (though I still think her appearance is like a hybrid of both Legend of Spyro and Skylanders however I based Cynder more on her Legend of Spyro appearance because I'm more familiar with the backstory in the Spyro games instead of the Skylanders games). The design I used to make Cynder's mane came straight out from my head because in pretty much all of the reference I've seen for Cynder in pony form (except for one that was made by a user named KrazyKari), Cynder had no hair on her head like Spyro so that was when I decided to give my Cynder pony hair and I have to say it just looks amazing.

Other than my Spyro pony, my Cynder pony is by far one of the most detailed ponies I've made for quite a while and the reason for that is very simple. It is because I take my time very slowly and I carefully add the details in to make them look very accurate and perfectly in the way I wanted it to be.

Overall I just love all of the details I had put into Cynder. It puts a big smile on my face and it makes me very happy. So happy that I actually wanna play one of the three games in The Legend of Spyro trilogy right now (in fact I have every game in The Legend of Spyro trilogy). I think my favorite detail of the picture would probably have to be the spiked jewelry that Cynder is wearing which just looks awesome! A really interesting thing about this picture is that I actually reused the same wings that Spyro had in the previous picture except I changed the color and I added a silver part to the wing.

When I was looking for a background, I literally knew exactly which background to use because it gives the picture more of an emotional moment with Cynder by herself wondering if Spyro loves her. It also gives the picture more of a feeling to that of The Eternal Night. Oh and in case anyone is wondering, I have not yet listened to This Broken Soul from The Eternal Night though somehow, a song like that somehow fits very perfectly with the emotional moment Cynder is having up above.

Much like Spyro, Cynder is of course able to change her appearance to match that of how she looks like in all 3 games in The Legend of Spyro series (including the Elemental Dragon from The Eternal Night and her Evil form from A New Beginning) and the Skylanders series. Like Spyro, despite that Cynder's voice will change, all of the attacks she does are from Dawn of the Dragon no matter what appearance Cynder is in. And finally her cutie mark (which happens to be a bright glowing crescent moon with dark clouds) will still be unchanged even in her Skylanders appearance, her cutie mark will not change into the Undead Element most likely to keep it consistent with her other appearances.
